Lego sets continue to arrive broken

(we have many birthdays this month). I am so unhappy that the tit came without a box. The children saw their presents on the porch before their birthday and the box was badly damaged.

Pros
  • Ocean Exploration Toy Base with interchangeable habitation and exploration modules plus docking submarine, underwater drone, 5 explorer minifigures and shark and ray figures
Cons
  • Legacy model

Of all the Legos I stepped on this winter, these were the most common.

The build wasn't great for a 6-year-old too hard but good endurance workout on a rainy day. Suitable for interactive play, not just model building, as the pods detach and become an obstacle for dad to step on when he goes to work at midnight.

Pros
  • The LEGO City marine research base includes interchangeable housing and research modules, plus a docking submarine with movable inspection arms, spinning propeller and opening cockpit with space for 2 minifigures
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Easy packaging and postage

Without judging Lego, we love Lego. It came completely open with shipping labels all over it and a tear-off tie, a graduation gift for my son that was promised to him for taking up math. He's been working hard, and from a presentation standpoint, it looks like rubbish. My husband is going through this right now to make sure everything is in place.

Pros
  • Kids can embark on exciting underwater adventures with this awesome LEGO City Ocean Exploration Base (60265) playset.
Cons
  • Periodicity
