Hedwig reigns! - Construction Toy

This was the perfect gift for my son who is a die-hard HP fan. Assembled in less than an hour. Has moving parts but is intended to be displayed, not played with.

Lego HP, need I say more?

It was the perfect gift for my teenager who is still a Harry Potter fan. The wings are moving and he really liked it. Easy enough but still challenging, he loves it!

Very frustrating mechanism to flap the wings

I tried ten different ways to flap the wings. Nothing worked. Three stars for looks, one for flight mechanics. Almost cheap with the way it holds together.

This is a REALLY COOL LEGO set!

There is a little handle that makes Hedwig's wings fly up and down and it looks really cool. It took my 10 year old about an hour to put it together and he uses it so much while reading books and watching movies from this franchise. A MUST for all Harry Potter and LEGO fans! It was also not as expensive as other sets of this type.

It's an owl and it's flapping its wings

I got this because it's an owl, not because it's a Harry Potter owl. I have several LEGO birds and this one is a great addition. It has a crank so the wings flap when you turn the crank. Very cool. The movement is completely natural. It was a fun build and the end product is well worth having on my shelf. By the way, it's not that I don't like Harry Potter, I just really like birds.

Great set BUT check the price on the Lego website before you buy, it's overpriced like me.

Like a Lego set - 4 stars! I enjoyed putting this build together. I would deduct 1 star because the letter Hedwig wears consists of 3 blank brown pieces and 1 blank red one with stickers ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ This is possibly the best and most iconic part of the build and its stickers. Do better, please, Lego. Let's get to the real problem. Attention buyers. Please do not do what I did and do not purchase this or any Lego set that is still in production without verifying the actual retail price. As ofโ€ฆ
