Great Figured - Building Toy

This is a decent set, I just wish I had bought it many years ago when it first came out when the price wasn't that high, but it was worth it. Exclusive Figures: Boromir, Pippin, Orcs of Moria and of course the Cave Troll look fantastic. The assembly itself is not very good; too many stickers and it's not very convenient to display but would be great to play with after assembling, my little cousin loves it.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • weak

Solid set, good playability

I bought this set for my son (10 years old at the time) who likes both Lego and LOTR. Good buy. Assembly isn't too difficult and there are some fun original parts. "Cave Troll" was a real hit. The real fun came after he was done. He had a lot of fun playing with the set; Set traps, reenact scenes. All in all, a solid seat that does not see the subject as art to be copied, but as a place for imagination.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Some difficulties

This is an amazing kit.

I'm glad my boys love Lego because I love it so much and I love helping them build sets. Some guys are very exciting: Cave Troll, 2 Orcs, Gimli, Boromir, Peppin, Legolas. Lots of good, unusual weapons. The features of the wall where you can shoot off pieces of it are a lot of fun. The stickers are really good. Skeletons are just super cool. It's a great scene and after putting it together we watched this scene from Brotherhood to enjoy again.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some little things

Great build! in Storage & Accessories

The Mines of Moria are a perfect reproduction of a crumbling, derelict stone megastructure. Despite the fact that the set is small, the feeling of Morya remains. The ruins are divided into smaller sections so different settings can be used. Interesting features include an exploding tomb, collapsing pillars, hidden treasure and an exploding wall. The cool addition of a cave troll with posable arms makes the set even better. Cool stickers and decals also make the set look like an abandoned gnome…

Amazing price ($59) and decent Lego quality (which is premium)

For what I paid for it it's really a steal compared to what you pay for similar sets. The packaging wasn't the best as the box was partially torn with no padding. The set itself is really good for a Lord of the Rings fan, the Lego quality is the best and it's on par. Get Pipin and Boromir minifigures. Gimli and Legolas are also part of the set, and it's a welcome addition to avoid buying Helm's Deep just to complete the Fellowship minifigures. You're almost done with this Weathertop and…

Grandson loves this set!

I bought this Lego set for my 8 year old grandson for his birthday. His room is wall to wall in Lego and he has a large desk full of his latest Lego projects. My daughter is very organized and various lego bricks are stacked in baskets along the walls. All of this suggests that he is MAINLY into Lego and has been for at least 3 years. This set was recommended for kids older than my grandson but he loves a challenge and can do it but not fast enough to finish right away. He was keen to start a…
