Difficult to assemble

I find myself very handy. However, I am having trouble putting the connector back in after connecting the cables. Finally succeeded after many attempts. No instructions were sent.

Pros
  • Rated 15 amps and 125 volts
Cons
  • Safety

UL be damned! in Plugs

If you're adult and responsible enough not to take your hairdryer into the bath or shower, this is a great item to replace that annoying bulky jig at the end of the cord . Go on! Be brave and cut the damn cord! This message is not UL approved.

Pros
  • Polarized Straight Blade Plug - White
Cons
  • Nothing

It works. Keep cords away from guinea pigs.

Tips:1. Use needle nose pliers to pull out the yellow insert2. Wrap the wires clockwise around the screw to keep them from loosening when screw3 is tightened. Use a multimeter to make sure you don't short the two pins before connecting.

Pros
  • Straight Blade Pin Plug - White
Cons
  • Compatibility

Simple lamp connector, works fine

Will fit as long as you don't tug on the cord. There is no way to clamp the cable, there is not enough space inside to tie the strain relief. I use it where the cable doesn't stretch. (Why does Revane ask how transparent he is? Sometimes they're weird.)

Pros
  • Item with leftover pin connector
Cons
  • Will not fit everyone

a little different. but I like it.

I had to shorten the cord for a shop light with 16ga wire and polarized plug - it helped. It's unlike any other plug I've ever used before - you slide each blade out from the front, attach a wire, then plug it back in and insert a wedge. No ugly screws or hinges. works well.

Pros
  • Made in China
Cons
  • Without machine

Not suitable for small diameter cables

I used it on a small AC motor that uses smaller diameter cables. It works but the hole for the wires is big. Also the way the connector ends need to come out and plug back in was a little pathetic once the wires were connected. I guess you only have to do this once, but I wasn't impressed.

Pros
  • Simple and easy use kit
Cons
  • Faulty
