I have a 4 gauge wiring kit. I can't wait to install this on my computer. The power cords are very thick and have a 100 amp fuse. Everything I needed in one box.

Haven't used it yet as our car is in the shop right now and is getting a new engine but my husband is very excited about it so he can get new wiring speakers and he said it was a good buy

Wire sizes are AWG, not "gauge" which is a marketing term. Hook up the previous amp to the BOSS Audio kit - it's much better for just a few extra bucks. The cables were easy to pull and made a high-quality impression. I'm using this with an 8" powered subwoofer so it's probably overkill. The RCA cables are high quality and won't tangle even when running alongside the battery cable (try crossing the battery wires at a 90 degree angle to minimize interference). Just routed all the wiring through the firewall, under the door sills and carpet and noticed one side of the fuse holder had come loose. yes it was new On the one hand the hex screw is ok, on the other hand it cannot be loosened or tightened. It just sticks in the screw mount. Terrible quality assurance. Now I have to move the whole installation. I'm also not going to mess around with pulling and moving wires. So I have to buy another special fuse and finish the installation another day. I…
