I was impressed at how quickly this item was delivered. I need it to convert my HDMI cable that we use for NETFLIX. So much time, energy and gas would have been wasted looking for it.

The product does not support lower resolutions, it constantly reports that the active signal is 1920 x 1080 and will not adjust to a lower resolution monitor. I had to return it.

This didn't work on my laptop. The HDMI size is a standard that is too big. It would be helpful if the seller provided the HDMI size in the product description. The average person doesn't automatically know these things. I had to do some research and found out that there are three sizes. I already knew that the cable would be too small for cell phones, iPads etc. (Micro D). What I didn't know was the mini C size I needed). If you need an HDMI to VGA adapter, first check your port size!
