Chromebook Rocks!: Laptops

I'm tired of my old laptop and all the quirks of constantly monitoring downloads and ticks that you have to fiddle with regularly. Chrome does this seamlessly, giving us what we all want. You don't have to wait for it to load. No half-hour download waiting time. There is no need to know how and what the printer restarts after an update. My first lasted 8 years and this model has replaced it and I couldn't be happier. Check out this model and see if you need more but it does what is listed and I

Works great. in Traditional Notebooks

This is a Chromebook and claims to be a little more rugged than most (to carry in a school bag). Also, we've had good luck with the Lenovo brand in the past. what more can i say This is a Chromebook and it does what a Chromebook does. A great inexpensive laptop alternative if you don't need to download Windows apps. With a Chromebook, you're basically limited to what you can do in a web browser (which, in most cases, is intended for home use).

One is ok one is not

I bought two of these for distance learning. One of my sons had no problems. Another gets disconnected from the internet several times in the morning. They sit next to each other and his internet connection still shows a full bands connection. I'm curious to know if anyone else is having this problem. Very frustrating.

good and bad the best laptops

Bought to replace my Acer which died after 5 years. I have high-end laptops and iPads at home, but I love using these cheap Chromebooks (we have two) as my daily bats. Good first. This is a reliable, sturdy computer that was cheap. The bad thing is that the volume is practically unusable. I actually always have to use headphones because the sound is very quiet. Second, WiFi performance is below average. We have very congested WiFi here in Silicon Valley and everyone is at home due to Covid…

Pros
  • Conventional laptops
Cons
  • sad packaging
