Description says HDMI connection but comes with DisplayPort cable, not HDMI - huh!?

I just opened it up and set it up and then tried to connect it with the cable that came with it and it just didn't fit my laptop's HDMI port - very strange so I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, just to note that the cable that comes with the monitor is *not* and an HDMI cable. It looks like the monitor has an HDMI port, but the cable is a DisplayPort cable as far as I can tell. Seriously, when the monitor description says "Connection: HDMI" I was expecting an HDMI…

Poor brightness - my new test

I work in a bright room and the brightness of these monitors is very poor. I WISH I could get them back, I just started using them because I finally got home after a break from traveling. 20 so I'll try to get it instead. Lenovo, PLEASE help me get these monitors back. I know I don't have a return window but they are brand new out of the box and they give me tons of eye strain due to the brightness. PLEASE HELP.
