💻 Lenovo Thinkpad 65W Laptop Charger Adapter Power Cord for T400-T530 X120-X230 Series Review

I bought this as a replacement adapter for my Lenovo 520 in October 2020. In January 2021 it started sparking when I plugged it in. then my computer just died completely (and didn't come back) when plugged in. I connected it to standard two pin jacks.

When my charger that I've been using for 3 years broke down I panicked because I had a school assignment to do. It works great, looks and works just like the one I bought my Lenovo T530 with. I highly recommend this charger. Shipping was fast despite storm Irma and all.

I need a replacement charger for my X230. It has the right performance, the best price and was "premium" at the time of my purchase. Original part from Lenovo and the quality is the same as the original. This is normal for the power supply.

This is a smaller version of the power cord that came with the computer. It is not uncommon for sparks (usually noise) to occur when plugging in and the two parts of the charger (charger and adapter) separate too easily. You can connect your computer, move it, and then the two parts separate. Insulating tape cannot be attached due to the location of the cable.

Works. Received FRU 45N0322, expected FRU 42T5282 (for Thinkpad L430, 24661T7). The first is for one of the X and E models, the second for the L model, although some of them are equivalent (e.g. FRU 42T5283 corresponds to FRU 45N0322). So far no problems. It works. The only thing that is different is the input. FRU 42T5282 is 1.5A, FRU 45N0322 is 1.8A (the outputs are the same for both). First, it's sold in three parts: a power cable, a (genuine) Lenovo adapter that ends in a round connector, and a complete round-to-rectangular adapter. The power cord is not very suitable. To say that this will work for all the computers listed when they actually only ship with one adapter is quite misleading. I have two ThinkPads, T460s and X220. I've found it to charge my T460S but not the X220 I bought it for. I have other adapters that charge both - this is not a problem with the computer…
