After a year of use, this latch (which is on / off) broke. I had to carry it in for repairs, it cost 4 sput. If it wasn't for the price, I'd give it 3 stars. Pros below: The idea is good. I bought this docking station for use with the P71 high performance CAD and 3D workstation. The docking station is not plug and play, it will not work with an external 4K UHD monitor with a native resolution of 3840x2160. You can eventually get the dock to send a video signal, but all will be lost if your computer goes to sleep, shuts down, or is removed from the dock. I have a P50 and I encountered a situation - at the station it does NOT load fully, just a black screen. I have to take it off and as soon as I lift the lid it pops up and I can put it back on the station. so far so good. Fits my P51 SE (the one with the keyboard). I'm a freelance engineer and I often have to take my computer to clients and now I really appreciate the docking station. The build quality is mediocre but is totally what I expect from a docking station, be it Dell, Lenovo or whatever, they all seem to be of the same quality (and probably made in the same factory).
