DID NOT LIKE THE PICTURE AT ALL!

I received a piece of black rubber/foam with a suction cup. Didn't cost $19 at all. At best, it costs $3 for materials. It was a complete and utter disappointment. I'm seeing all the pictures of what others have received and I can't figure out how I got something that is COMPLETELY NOT like the pictures above! I got my money back but it was very shocking to say the least. Don't be surprised if you get what I have described and think it is what is shown in the pictures above because it is NOT!

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Overpriced Best Camera & Photo

If someone gave me this and asked how much it might cost I wouldn't give them more than $4. Serious. I paid that $22 now I think it was stupid. Too much for a "Lenseball" logo. No it works, it holds a 50mm bullet well as advertised, a larger bullet holds even better. But I thought they were bigger and higher quality tires. There are actually 2 small parts: a small aluminum base and a rubber mount. That's all. However, it works. I'm glad I didn't bother with the original Lensball and ordered aโ€ฆ

Disappointingly small

I was so happy to receive my LensBall and so impressed with the quality. I wanted to protect it, so I immediately ordered this lens stand as I'm very afraid of dropping the LensBall. I have to admit I was shocked and disappointed when I received it. The lens stand is so small! Not even an inch wide. At first I thought I ordered the wrong item, maybe a stand for the smaller LensBall, but there is no other lens stand. I did a little research on buyer reviews to see if they were happy with itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Cute
Cons
  • Hard to say

This works as expected, but I didn't realize it was quite small. Easily attaches to a tripod. UPDATE: There is a great way to keep the ball steady for taking photos. You need a quick release for the tripod head. Take the package that came with the ball lens stand and insert it into the clip, just like you insert a quick release plate and tighten the clip. The styrofoam holds the ball in place, and you can mount the quick release clamp to a small tripod or gorilla pod. It's much stronger thanโ€ฆ

Pros
  • MODERN DESIGN. The base of the stand is made of anodized aluminum, which is known for its sturdiness and easy cleaning.
Cons
  • Requires socket

USELESS - NOT RECOMMENDED - DELETED ON FIRST USE.

OK I put the suction cup on the monopod and then attached the 80mm lens to it. The suction worked like a charm. However, about halfway through taking my photo set, I moved to take another shot and my Lensball landed on the pavement, pulling out a large chunk of shavings. There was a black suction cup attached to the 80mm bullet, which still held tight. However, the aluminum base was still on my monopod. The black suction cup has become detached from the base and as a result I now have neitherโ€ฆ

Pros
  • SHOOT STALL. Capturing blurry lensball photos can give photographers a headache! Worry no more with the original lens stand. Its vulcanized rubber suction cup provides a secure grip on your lensball, allowing you to capture magical shots with ease.
Cons
  • Not bad but...

When I first saw this spherical lens mount I thought it was a great idea! It can help many of us to have our hands free to focus on our composition and settings and also when we have a lens holder that can be attached to our tripods just like that instead of holding our photo. balls and try to take a good picture with it! When I first received my original lens stand, I noticed that the packaging was open; The tape originally used to seal the box was already cut. The stand itself looked ok so Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • ADJUSTABLE โ€“ As a photographer it can be a challenge to take all your tools with you wherever you go. However, thanks to the built-in tripod hole, the Lensball stand is compatible with any tripod.
Cons
  • Obsolete
