A little bit not what I expected, generally fine.

Focuses slowly, and can miss. Of course, the weight is felt, but this is a feature of the lens. The working aperture is 8, I would like it to be open. After the first trip off-road in windy weather, I noticed dust under the front lens. Very disappointed. More than a year has passed and there is a lot of dust, it seems the sharpness has fallen. The nearest service refuses to clean it .

Pros
  • Price, FR,
Cons
  • Vacuum cleaner, dust sucks like a pump. No dust and moisture protection. When attaching to the bayonet, play is felt.

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

I hope my opinion will be useful, I am writing this product review LensCoat Lens Cover For Tamron SP 150-600 Mm F/5-6. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, there are minor problems with autofocus, sometimes it searches for a long time, but it processes well. If you shoot something in fast motion, then for this it is slow, but a flying seagull, for example, is no problem. Portraits, landscapes - he copes with this perfectly.

Pros
  • Strong, compact, works at a temperature of -20! The stabilizer works great.
Cons
  • Slightly blurry frames around the edges, but not critical.

Excellent product, the best quality.

I bought it in early September, I shoot on 6D. Somehow it didn't impress me at first compared to the Canon EF 100-400L. In the entire range from 150 to 400 Canon is a bit sharper, even with a covered aperture. And the picture itself is slightly different in color reproduction. I do not know why. At 500-600 mm, it slightly outperforms 100-400L due to the larger focal length. But the detail . After reading the reviews, I came to the conclusion that the quality floats from copy to copy. Maybe I'm

Pros
  • For such a price, excellent focal, aperture and sharpness. The stub is really good.
Cons
  • There are none for this price.

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

I use it in tandem with a Canon EOS 7D mark 2, before that I had a 500D (and yes, they have the same photo quality). Maybe Iโ€™m not used to 600 mm yet, maybe for sharp shots you need completely stone hands or on AV constant iso in the region of 6400 and higher, use ultra-short shutter speeds, but thatโ€™s just it from a tripod with the stub turned off and with the mirror pre-lifting for some reason then it lathers. And the micro-adjustment of the focus in the carcass did not change the situationโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Looks cool. Suitable focal points for sports and birds. A telescope is obtained on a crop camera. You can look where you canโ€™t go and see a lot of interesting things) Judging by the weight, it contains real glasses and not plastic ones that turn yellow over time. The pictures turn out good, even portraits are nothing like that, the background on such focal lengths is blurred and gets closer, it looks unusual.
Cons
  • A bit soapy compared to the Canon 70-200 L f4 IS USM. It seems that there is a stub, but out of 10 frames I have only half of them relatively sharp. Some post-processing is required to get beautiful photos.

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

Today I will write my product review on LensCoat Lens Cover For Tamron SP 150-600 Mm F/5-6. Compared to Canon, autofocus is slower here. The stub works fine, in principle, as always. The weight is certainly felt, well, or you just need to get used to it. The picture is obtained with a bright dense color, contrast, well detailed. In general, satisfied with the purchase.

Pros
  • Excellent focal, stabilizer and aperture.
Cons
  • For such a price a little "soaps".

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

Tamron 150-600 turned out to be not so big and heavy, as he initially scared in his performance characteristics, and for only 500 (at the current exchange rate) euros he gives a more than decent picture, the landscape at 600mm sharpness (especially in the corners) will not shine , but on the open at the long end, the texture of animal hair is transmitted in the center quite well. Up to 500 mm at f11-13 on a tamron, you can shoot a quite tolerable printable landscape, and if you slightly trickโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sharpness in the center with open, to f10-11 and the corners are tightened to normal, light weight for such FR, very good stub, tripod foot, zoom lock included, when shooting up, the 600mm tube does not roll back, comfortable wide rubber rings, rubberized bayonet (protection against moisture ingress). And the price of course. Plus 5 years warranty after registration.
Cons
  • Unsharp angles at all focal lengths in the open, especially after 500mm, slow autofocus, sometimes roams, goes from a distance of several meters to infinity for a very long time, zoom rotation is reverse to kenon zooms, 95mm filters, huge lens hood =)) But low sharpness is relative - on crop corners will be cut off and everything will be buzzing, and on ff, tighten the aperture and also buzzing. Not a fixed elk, but the sharpness is sufficient for shooting a landscape. Not suitable for dynamics due to af. However, it is suitable for livestock.
