This toilet mat is great, the rubber surface is so soft it doesn't hurt walking barefoot but strong enough to hold its shape well. The top does an excellent job picking up dirt from cat paws, better than other wire surface mats I've tried. The two-layer design makes cleaning very easy, no more vacuuming the mat and no more banging out dirt. Just take it to the trash can and throw it away. We use this to ensure dirt doesn't leave the room and end up on the carpet. Highly recommended

Finally! I use silica cat litter and although it's slightly larger than the holes in this rug, it still keeps the litter out of my house! Some users and even the manufacturer note that the mat needs to be ventilated due to its material, I didn't notice the smell. I love this rug. It won't 100% stop tracking, but it definitely helped. I gave this product 3 stars because it is NOT waterproof. I originally bought the mat because my cat had a pee strip right next to the litter box, so I figured this mat would at least make cleaning easier.
