It doesn't have the finish I was looking for. It's more of a gloss than a metallic. But it can be good if you aim for it. Update: I tried another way, rubbing it into the mold instead of mixing it with resin. I'll try a different color of resin to see if the gold cracks. But much better.

I wanted a black pigment with a slight mica sheen. But it's some serious silver shimmer. Update: I mixed it with epoxy and applied it to a toy truck to give the black glass effect. It made a mess. The mouse powder sticks together and does not spread evenly in the epoxy. I mixed thoroughly and made sure the consistency was good. I have attached some photos of my application. Looks bad.

This was my first purchase of mica powder from this company but by no means my first purchase of mica and let me tell you that I was and still am very impressed. I use them in acrylic fill. I got the gold, and compared to my other gold pieces, it's like stepping into a treasure chest lit by a disco ball. The size of the mica is perfect, not big enough to look like glitter but big enough to really sparkle. Mix well and dry well. I will buy any colors this company offers because if they are even…
