I bought these to use on my electric range. I often use an air grill and sometimes an electric grill. I use the glass top of my oven. Unfortunately, this meant I had to plug my devices into an extension cord. I had to disassemble the area to the point where I could use my metal cutting tool to make the holes needed for two outlets and each of the switches I connected to them.

Does not fit in the curved vanity hole of the 70s. However, you can remove the old metal spring clip from your old socket, cut the side plastic tabs from the new socket to make room, and then use the existing screw on the new socket to attach the old clip. This will work fine. Leviton's design looks great. Contact only on one side of the pin. Should be fine as long as there is voltage on the pin generated by the terminal. $10 seems a bit high for this part, but I looked around and couldn't find

Very nice rosette. Using a dremel, cut a square to fit inside the plastic case and the outlet will be tight. Using a heavy-duty connector to test the insertion and extraction pressure on the socket shows that the bracket is very strong. The only comment I'll make is that the ground wire looks like it's connected a little loosely in the plastic case. This isn't a problem as long as the wire doesn't move much over the lifetime of the outlet. The movement of the wire during assembly of the panel I
