Total waste of money

I purchased this connector for my electrical project, and it was a complete disappointment. According to my experience in Tools and Home Improvement, it did not work well on my multimode fiber optic cables. The polishing was subpar and caused a lot of signal loss, which in turn led to a drop in speed. The only positive thing I can say about this product is that it was relatively easy to install. However, that single pro doesn't make up for the cons that came with it. Overall, I do not recommend

Don't forget a good cleaver

They are beautiful. After fumbling with all the equipment and tools for terminating fiber optics with traditional connectors, I gave them a try. God, that saved me a lot of work. I highly recommend.

Great Field Connectors

These field connectors are great. Really simple setup works great. The only problem I had was that when plugging a fiber into the back of the connector, if the fiber breaks for some reason, there doesn't seem to be a way to remove the broken piece of fiber from the connector so you can do it it. I no longer use this plug, I have to throw it away. This has happened a few times due to stripper misalignment leaving microscopic nicks on the stripped fiber.
