0 to 100 in three stops

The instructions were a little tricky as they didn't specify which of the two wires was for the three position switch like most do so I had to plug in, turn on breaker and see if it was the right cable. That was annoying for a switch that cost more than the rest. At the lowest setting, the fan barely moved. Not even as fast as the second hand of a watch. So it's useless. The second speed is what I expected from a low setting. And the third stage is so fast that the ceiling fan itself starts…

Works well and is easy to install.

Works great. Ease of installation. Most fan controls either have light controls, which we don't need, or are switches. We prefer a separate switch. Although I would prefer it to be a button.

Didn't work best in lighting and ceiling fans

I purchased this switch and ceiling fan late last year for a room renovation project. I finally got around to installing the fan this week and I couldn't even get the switch to turn the fan on. I ended up using a regular light switch to set up the fan while waiting for another 3 gang switch to arrive.
