Great for Wemo switches

I decided to replace the traditional 4 group Wi-Fi switch with Wemo switches (I had to buy 4 pieces separately). This record covered the new setup very organically. It needed a bit of padding to install the wiring, but it ended up fitting very well.

Fur. Lutron is way better for the same price.

Inferior design of Lutron's screwless wall plate. Has less coverage around switches. The gap around the box did not close, and on the installed "plate" there are strange notches that are visible when the lid is installed. Take Lutron.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some challenges

I ordered different brands to find one that works with white Legrand switches. This one was undoubtedly the best. This is a well made panel with a solid back panel which is essential on less than ideal walls. He even managed to make the uneven shifters (working on that!) look less uneven in the 4 seat box. The Lutron I tried was a well-made record, but double-ply made it far from clean; and Legrand's radiant panel was weak and would probably only work on perfectly smooth walls.

Nice looking fairing cover that fits standard paddle shifters.

Used for the main panel in the kitchen. This panel controls the kitchen hallway, island lighting, recessed lighting, and sink lighting. I wanted something more finished than screwable. They fit standard Meross and Kasa paddle switches and smart switches/dimmers. Installation was easy. and I used some beads of sealant to give it a built in look. All of my other covers have screw holes, but I thought it would be nice to make the main panel look even better. I think it's up to you what you want…

Pros
  • Inspires confidence

Best matches with C by GE Smart Switch wall plates

I have ordered several different brands of screwless wall plates for my C by GE (now Cync) Smart Switch multiple boxes. GE's Smart C switches come with a wall plate, but it's been difficult to find 2, 3, and 4 button wall plates that even fit. The screwless Leviton Decora Plus wall panel has proven to be very suitable. If the switches aren't next to each other, no one can tell the difference. White color, gloss and hole size are exactly the same. The depth of its projection from the wall is the

Difficult to align switches, especially when using dimmers or timers.

I received this 4 speed Leviton screwless plate and several Lutron Claro 3 and smaller screwless plates on the same day. The contrast between the two was immediately apparent as I installed everything within a few hours. The Leviton uses an auxiliary plate that must be slid over the top screws of the switches and then "snap" the bottom onto the bottom screws. Doing this with 4 switches (2 timers, 1 dimmer and 1 normal switch) wasn't easy. The end result was that I was unable to align and flush…
