Expensive for an electrician

These faceplates are very durable and easy to install. They look great with no annoying screw holes. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some nuances

Expensive but worth it

They are thin, blend well and are easy to wear. You can buy cheaper alternatives, although the lack of ease of installing others and the loss of sanity in trying to achieve a finish as good as them make it worth the cost.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • embarrassing

Doesn't work well with wall plates and accessories

I live in a 1960's house with imperfect walls and this plate will only work if your walls are perfectly flat. I mean dead plane. If it doesn't, you're looking at a huge gap that only makes things worse. Two-screw versions, where you can simply screw the panel to the wall, are much better for older homes. Just my two cents.

Pros
  • Large selection

Cheap electrical caps

I didn't like the way these caps were attached, they are very flimsy and barely attached to the light switch screws. These covers are installed on top of the light switch, that's the problem I'm having. I installed one but there was a problem: the electrical box in the wall was loose and not perpendicular to the wall. After the light switches and covers were installed, there was a gap in the cover between the wall and the light switches were not square to the cover due to problems with the…

Good build quality

This is a two plate system. There is a mounting plate that gives you access to the socket/switch screws. If you leave them slightly loose when installing the mounting plate, they will line up nicely. After that you can finish the mounting on the wall. Finally put the faceplate on and after a few shots you have a nice clean look. The panel snaps firmly into place, but not so hard that it can't be removed without breaking.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Cheap covers work best for wall panels and accessories

I didn't like the way these covers fit, very flimsy and barely secured with light switch mounting screws. These covers are installed on top of the light switch, that's the problem I'm having. After the light switches and covers were installed, there was a gap in the cover between the wall and the light switches were not square to the cover due to problems with the electrical…

Good standard size screwless inserts

These are not my screwless inserts; I prefer Eaton/Cooper Aspire screwless inserts. There is nothing wrong with that, however; It was just easier for me to find the Aspire plates locally and I started with them first. But there's a difference: these are standard-sized tablets, while the Aspire is mid-range. Therefore they are a bit smaller. I've had a tight fit where the Aspire didn't work and these worked great. They're visually similar, except they have slightly more rounded corners and maybe

Good end results, but installation can be tedious.

These screwless models have a base plate that needs to be passed between the wall and the unit, after which the decorative plate snaps into place. The bottom plate is inevitably thin and flimsy, making it unforgiving in imperfect assembly conditions. Most of the wall mounted electrical boxes in my house are not installed level and flush with the drywall, in order for them to work well I made standoffs to go between the recessed electrical box and this panel. Electrical device for installation…
