Attention buyers: Got U1 instead of U3

Luckily the card I received works fine but does not match the product name or description. I expected and paid for a 64GB U3 card, but received a U1 card. I didn't have time to return the card so I did it right. Be careful when you buy this particular U3 64GB card. At this point it's too late for me to return it. The files are already stored on it and it's too much trouble to worry about it now. Luckily it still worked for what I needed but was told to use U3.

Decent card, but watch out for the write speed!

Lexar Professional 633x cards are an upgrade from 600x SD cards. Previous cards were advertised as reading 90MB/s and writing 45MB/s. According to Lexar, the new cards are now advertised with 95 MB/s reading and 45 MB/s writing. The new cards are now UHS Speed Class 3 (U3). U3 isn't a specific type of card, it's a speed rating that ensures the card can support at least 30MB/s write speed, making it suitable for 4K video recording. The old maps were introduced in 2012, a year before the U3 speed

I bought this memory card for my new Nikon camera.

I bought this memory card for my new Nikon camera - I had over 900 photos from my son's first 5 months and the memory card erased all my photos. I was told that this memory card is not a legal card and now my photos are gone forever. Fortunately, many of them have been archived, but the rest cannot be recovered. DO NOT buy this memory card. UPDATE: I was able to download Lexar Image Recovery 5 and it found/recovered over 1000 photos from my memory card. I was able to save photos to externalโ€ฆ

I use it in my Nikon D810. Saves.

I use it in my Nikon D810. Stores lots of photos and easily reads/writes 1080p videos at 60fps. I read several other reviews that said they received a fake copy with much less capacity than the controller said. I'll admit I haven't tested the actual capacity of this card, but I took 113 photos in one session. Each photo is approximately 72MB in .NEF/Raw format. I'll update this when I get a chance to fully test it. UPDATE: Just ran this card through H2testw. The capacity is as stated. Speed isโ€ฆ

It's not worth it. at Computer Accessories & Peripherals

You get what you pay for and it's not the best. I bought these and now I regret not spending the extra money on a better quality memory card. During my recent trip to Japan, I decided that the best way not to miss a chance is with this 128GB card. I couldn't donate too much money to a top brand, but I regretted not paying extra after using it once. The card froze when taking photos and often said it was busy, preventing me from continuing to take photos. When the busy alarm stopped and Iโ€ฆ

As a hobby photographer - thumbs up!

I prefer 16GB SD cards for my cameras. They help me keep track of the number of photos I take and help me avoid a single card error that ruins a session or vacation. These are amazingly fast cards that I can use with my Canon EOS 70D and Panasonic DMC-ZS40 cameras for both stills and video.

Excellent, best memory card so far

This is my first new generation SD card (I think the last one was a 1GB model 6-7 years ago when they were new Size?). It came with my Nikon D3300 digital SLR camera. It's nice and fast, although I doubt I've really tested its limits as I'm new to a DSLR and haven't even figured out what 1080p video it can capture (I love hockey and get the boys at the rink quite a bit annoying I only learned how to take fast high-speed pictures). Seems to be a great product. I bought a removable USB 3.0 reader

Pros
  • Best in its niche

Very happy with Lexar

I am very happy with Lexar SD cards and batteries. They have a faster version, which is a 1000x 64GB card, but I've found that my camera's buffer has more to do with write performance than the cards themselves. Because of this, sometimes the order of JPGs written to the card is different - and RAW files differently. Lexar has a lifetime warranty for what it's worth, but rest assured it's strong and backed by a respected company. The price was very good in the sale. But the price varies a bit. I
