Random Acts of Paper Violence

I bought this printer three years ago because of a pricing mistake that made it incredibly cheap - one of those times when the manager said 'okay give it one but fix it him this sticker INSTANTLY. I can't believe anyone paid anything close to selling price for it and didn't take it back. Even I had to ask for a refund. First, it rarely ran directly under Windows Me - the software running it ran in the system tray and would annoy me by popping up and yelling "PRINTING STARTED!" at me in .WAV…

SIMPLE, WITHOUT EXCESS AND KEEP ME FOR YEARS! LOVE IT.

Vote for the reviewer "K. Chaudhry (USA)” wholeheartedly. I'm having an issue with it right now (Feb 2010) but I think I bought a faulty, remanufactured cartridge. I've printed so much on this machine over the years (8+), 3-4 times a week (docs, photos, charts, etc.). She has served me well. I regret nothing! It was a very basic car with no frills. I just hope I just need a new cartridge. I'm looking forward to my new Lexmark cartridge and I hope to be able to use it for a long time. Thank you…

Nothing Good About Lexmark

Lexmark spent too much time and money trying to get customers to buy overpriced ink and forgot to build a good printer. Your own cartridges have to be cleaned weekly, otherwise they get clogged. The paper feeder is junk. The online service does not help. There's a reason they're giving away these printers with complete systems. The 1100, 1150 and the rest of the Lexmark lineup are complete rubbish. Stay away!

.That was a great printer. I had no problems with that. Over time, Lexmark produces much better printers. Like everyone else, they improve the performance of newer models. If I were buying my FIRST printer and wanted something simple, this would be it. However, at the time of this review, Revain is offering it for $++. This printer has worked for me so far! (3 years)

I bought this at a flea market, yes, a flea market for [$]. The woman used it several times until she bought another printer. (It came with the computer) It didn't have a cord so I called Lexmark and they quickly sent it over for free. The sound from this printer is great and it's nice to hear him talk about loading paper etc. Although I have HP, NEC and Epson printers. This is used daily for daily printing. (I use my photo printer for photos) It rarely gets stuck in the paper unless I load it…
