I bought and installed this for my sister who lives in Arizona. Inkjet printers tend to dry out and clog in dry climates, so a color laser seemed like a better idea. The only thing that came with the printer was a sheet of pictures explaining how to unpack and install it. I figured out how to use the internal screen and menu system to do the basic settings. Seemed like a good buy until the original toner ran out. THEN I ordered a very expensive Lexmark replacement toner which ran out in a very short time, only a few copies (not even 200)! It was for multiple colors. I reported Lexmark and of course the warranty expired. The prints were superb and the cost was TERRIBLE! I would NOT recommend this device even if it was FREE! Overall I'm happy with the cost and print quality. But there were no instructions on how to set it up and operate it. All they provided was a sheet of paper with some confusing diagrams and no words. I had to try and understand the setup process by looking at the diagrams and trying to figure out what the arrows and lines mean. I'm pretty tech savvy so I figured it out. I wonder how a person with limited technical knowledge could understand this.

After clearing the paper jam, the error message doesn't go away. I did all possible troubleshooting steps and then called the support team. I had to provide my name, address, proof of purchase and serial number, after which I was told my case would be sent to the back room for approval. A week later I heard nothing. If I had kept the box I would have sent it back. waste of money and time. buy brother. I would give that 1 star if I could.

Inexpensive color laser, good print quality, poor construction, I will be shocked, this printer will last more than a few years, the feed mechanism is out of the box really loud, sounds like it already has 10,000 pages instead of 10. i would recommend spending a little more money and upgrading this machine.
