Optimized Lexmark E260/E36X/E46X Photoconductor Kit Review

My printer printed thousands of tiny dots on what was otherwise well printed. It didn't start out that bad, but it got worse every month. This kit was easy to install and gave me 'like new' print quality straight away.

I installed it immediately as my printer was showing signs of wear, although the installed one didn't even last half its life, which I think is 30,000 kopecks. I made about 13k of these. I use it on my Lexmark X264dm multifunction printer and it works as expected. I recommend it.

Our Lexmark printer has been saying for a while that we need to replace the drum kit, but we ignored the message until the print quality was just horrible. I had no problem putting our existing printer cartridge into the PC kit and putting everything back into the printer. On the first test print, the print quality is back to how it should be!

Lexmark OEM products are usually better than regular remanufactured products. But the prices are too, too high. I can understand the razor blade business model, but I don't think razor blades sell as well as toner cartridges, at least as a percentage. (Although I could be wrong). I ordered the photoconductor kit because there was a series of dots and smudges on the pages coming out of the printer. I have replaced the toner cartridge but the problem persists.
