This multifunction device gets my work done quickly, relatively quietly and with excellent quality. I have used Lexmark printers for many years and have been very happy with them, but this is the worst printer I have ever tried. I bought it in May 2013 and in August 2013 the printhead got stuck and wouldn't initialize. The printer kept reporting "paper jam", there was no "paper jam". I liked this printer (in every way), but after long use I could not replace the ink head, and some stores sold out of ink. I was talked into HP and I almost don't like it. To be honest, Lexmark printers are amazing and the company should sell their products as they can easily take over the world.

I love Lexmark multifunction devices. I had one that fell apart and foolishly bought an HP. I could never get my fax to work properly; Even had a replacement and still had an issue. I gave up and bought another Lexmark. Since then there have been no problems.

It took me a while to understand the setup guide clearly, but even then I still can't get the scanner to work. Also, it would be helpful if the instructions DELETE the definitions of "Wi-Fi", "Ethernet" and "UBS" connections - for example, how to choose what best suits your computer's needs fits. Was everything I wanted and more. I had an S415 that I had a few years before the exchange, everything that was on the S415 but a bit more. Good product!

After looking at a few different printers I came to the conclusion that the Lexmark is one of the best, of course there is always something that can cause them not to install but their customer service is top notch.

This printer has repeatedly failed to print, does not recognize that the computer or other device (iPad, laptop, etc.) is trying to print from it. Consumes ink too quickly, which is not available in town and must be ordered. It's not true Wi-Fi, and it *can* only print when connected via an over-the-air cable. It refused to print only in black even though the settings said it was set to only black. I had to return it and replace it with a Canon printer I found in town after it suddenly ran out…
