Comfortable and Lightweight Leyang Barefoot Minimalist Shoes Review

I love these shoes so much. You suit me. I used to only use them for training, but now in the summer I use them for pretty much everything. They are easy to put on and take off and are breathable. They also dry quickly when wet. Very comfortable, feet never hurt. so i've had these shoes for about 4 months now and have put them through hell. I bought them for hiking but they are so comfortable I wear them every day now. My only complaint is that when they get wet the paint bleeds onto your socks and when you're on a wet surface they have no grip. I work in healthcare and am on my feet up to 16 hours a day and my feet never hurt wearing them! unfortunately the adhesive on the upper is peeling off, but i'm having trouble with shoes again.

These shoes rock! I ordered a little bigger but they are so comfortable I don't care, work all day - gym - hiking - these shoes are amazing so flexible. It's a barefoot style so they don't have support but once you're used to them they're perfect. It's been a few months and they're holding up well - this is my second pair and my last pair lasted a year and a half with heavy daily use. They looked their age and I have changed the insoles several times but these shoes were amazing for the price.

This is the second pair I have ordered in the last year. I wish the toe could be reinforced somehow because both pairs have holes right where my thumb is. I got this pair now, I only got them in October so it's only a few months old. I will still order another pair because the wearing comfort just couldn't be better. The price is very cheap so I don't mind having to reorder every few months.

Great shoes, great fit and light. I could buy these again. However, I know it feels like laceless shoes and they're supposed to be slippery, but I wasn't expecting the inside to feel as fluffy as my bedtime slippers. In winter it will probably be very cool. But in the summer, when it's 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside, it's a real mental journey.

I immediately sent them back due to the strange sizing that doesn't seem to have anything to do with reality. Partly based on reviews describing them as small (not surprising), I ordered a 12.5 which appears to be the largest male size available. I usually wear a 12 or 13 depending on the style and brand. My son and I wore these shoes for two weeks running through Yellowstone and other parks. Our feet never hurt. My husband was wearing his special hiking shoes and his feet hurt. We walked around town and along the trails. They are flexible and therefore not designed for long hikes or climbs. They're pretty warm too. We had 30 degree weather so sometimes I put on 2 pairs of socks and my feet were warm.

The shoes were good for the thickness of the sole, excellent flexibility. BUT! The heel has NO hard "counter material" that keeps the back of the shoe rounded and raised at the back. That means when you take a step, the impact of the heel pulls the material of the back of the shoe under your foot.

After a few months of wearing I have to deduct 5 stars. They look and feel good, but the forefoot wears and has holes. It is not reinforced in the toe area like some other mesh shoes. So I have to get her down for that. If you wear them several times a month or a year, this might be the best buy for you.

I order women's size 8. They fit well. Comfortable footing and outsole with good grip on trails. Please note these are not cold weather shoes. Good for warmer weather.

Not sure if I will use them for running as the support could be better. But can be used for water shoes and also for kicking. You have held up well.

The shoes are comfortable, I wish they were wider. Comfortable ride, very light. Unfortunately, the eyelets are made of plastic and not reinforced, so when I tightened the cord, the eyelet broke after the 2nd run. Luckily, I was able to send the lanyard down a different route and complete the run.

These shoes offered no support. I had to buy insoles to make my feet a little more comfortable. Worn twice and given away. Terrible purchase 👎🏼

I just noticed that the sneakers have been worn before, the original color on the tag is missing and there is dirt on the sole. I didn't open the box, I thought it was new.

I've ridden them a few hundred miles and so far I'm very impressed. This is definitely a minimalist shoe. So if you are looking for support this is not for you. However, they are very comfortable and are great for trail running. Despite their light weight, they have so far withstood the rough terrain I run on. I think it's pretty good compared to the big brands. Definitely recommend.

very comfortable, haven't worn them for running for several weeks, only for walking, plastic lace eyes broke very easily. Very tragic, I had high hopes seeing how soft they are

I've been buying minimalist shoes since I discovered Merrell's. While these (or any other) don't compare, I like these shoes. Pros: The outsole is more durable than most other shoes and I won't hesitate to walk over rocky terrain in them. looks are good. Cons: The mesh on top is loose so they don't look like super gloves. The quick lacing is a little flimsy so I took it off and just tied it up. Basically a good looking shoe with a decent profile but not pro quality.

Fits as expected. They are very comfortable and do not constrict the legs, especially in the toes. It has a sock-like material around the toe and the bottom of the sole is quite thick. I have walked and walked in it with no problems or complaints. If you are not looking for lightweight shoes with less toe constraint, don't buy them.

I walk about 10 miles a day on asphalt. I needed a shoe with a wide toe and enough cushioning and support to walk the streets. This show is actually not bad. For the price you just can't beat them.

I received two pairs of these shoes and I love them. However, both couples were married. The top flap of the first pair was completely broken and lost in the package. Received replacement, put on, laces slightly tightened. Right center slit torn down the center. There will be no third pair, poor quality control. Would put 0 but sold out.
