I really wanted to love them, the gold color is so comfortable for winter, the flickering of the flame enhances the effect, and the remote control saves lives. Unfortunately, mine arrived scratched and had sticky residue. No matter how hard I try to clean them, they still show smudges and fingerprints! I have a similar set in dark gray (same remote works for all) which I love!

I love these, the slight movement and flickering of the 'flame' makes them so real from a distance, and the remote works well - haven't tried the timer function (not even know about it ) There was a timer until Amazon wanted me to review it?) Deducting a star because the ones they sent were NOT the color in the photo. I was hoping for this deep amber color but got something like sage green instead. I can't put them in the spot I wanted but found a spot that matches the color of these elsewhere

This is an amazing find. I love how realistic these flameless candles look. The flame looks like it's dancing around. The light can be changed to breathe (candle mode) or plain (light mode), but the flame is constantly moving (a little less in light mode). The board works as it should. The timer function works and the candles will go out when the timer is up, so that's safe. The light dims a little when the brightness is reduced. These are the best fake candles we've found so far. They look very realistic and give good light, but will not set fire to house or cats. I'm guessing the "glass" is actually acrylic, but it looks real and adds to the illusion of a candle flame. I'm guessing this one runs on two AA batteries instead of multiple AAA batteries. Power outages are common in our area and this is amazingly practical, fun and decorative.

I bought these after seeing them in a YouTube video made by someone remodeling their home office and I am NOT disappointed.
