This is an amazing find. I love how realistic these flameless candles look. The flame looks like it's dancing around. The light can be changed to breathe (candle mode) or plain (light mode), but the flame is constantly moving (a little less in light mode). The board works as it should. The timer function works and the candles will go out when the timer is up, so that's safe. The light dims a little when the brightness is reduced. Instead of real glass, these LED candles are actually made of Plexiglas, a type of acrylic. This is better as it is slightly lighter and less likely to break. Each candle requires two AA batteries. Plexiglas has an amber tinge, real wax has an amber tinge - yes, real wax! The wicks/flames are neat - the flat side on one side and the concave side on the back. It helps turn on the realism with the candles. The wicks are on a wire and wiggle constantly - nice to look at. There is a difference in the appearance of the entire "candle" when the flat side or the concave side is facing out. It looks more real when the concave side faces the audience. All in all an AMAZING illusion of real candles and they will last much longer. I love these flameless candles. Recommended for decoration at any time of the year! 💜
