Looks good and works well. I wish it had a tilt because it's not sitting at the correct viewing angle. I would also like a monitor with built in speakers and maybe a camera.

A good IPS monitor for the price. I didn't buy it to play, I tested it with an NVIDIA card at 75Hz and it didn't work properly. Didn't try to continue but be careful if you buy it for this as I had to keep it at 60Hz for work. well, it worked fine. The colors look very pretty but I'm not an expert and I don't use them for design related work. Another post mentions an audio recording issue for the onboard headphone jack, but you can disable this fairly easily.

Excellent color reproduction and contrast for the money. I've tested monitors over $150 and couldn't compete with this $80 LG 22MK430H. It's great for productivity, big enough to open two windows side by side, and good for gaming. I've tested it in FPS and racing games and it looks great with no ghosting. The only downside is that the brightness isn't perfect, but it works fairly well in a sunlit room as long as it's not in direct sunlight. You can get one for $80.

When I pair this with a new gaming PC for Christmas I'm still amazed at how well it performs and how good it looks. Flicker-Free.

I bought this monitor thinking it would work with my new Amiga (Apollo Accelerators Vampire V4 StandAlone). It was quite a gamble as many of the required video modes are either outdated or not quite standard. This display handled everything my Amiga threw at it. If you are looking for a display for RTG and SAGA output then this is it. At least for the FPGA cores released so far. If you're using any other retro device that outputs to HDMI, you can probably assume it has a good chance of working.

I've tried a few other brands in the same price range. LG is the best among them. From the looks of it, LG has a different understanding of LED and LCD technology than other multi-product brands. Highly recommended. No eye fatigue, no blurry screen.

A little disappointed. Brightness/contrast issues. It's just too boring and lacks contrast. I've tried fixing it with both the software and the onscreen buttons, but it's just plain ugly. The text doesn't even look good. Not what I would recommend. Choose a 2k screen with at least 350 nits of brightness. The best part is the price, or maybe how the monitor looks when it's off. Smooth and black. Very clean design. But yes, at some point you have to activate it unfortunately. LAUGH OUT LOUD

Not the best monitor, but far from the worst. It does what I need it to do pretty well and I haven't had any dead pixel issues or anything like that in the few months I've owned it.

I gave it to my wife for Christmas because she wanted a second monitor. The quality is really good for the price, we are both happy with it!

I bought this monitor three months ago when my employer sent me home for work and I realized I hadn't taken my work monitors with me. I bought two of these a year apart and both had the same issue of jumping between regular colors and an odd, low contrast, washed out look. Great monitors for the price. High quality resolution and decent refresh rate. I use two monitors for business, not for gaming. If using with a dual monitor dock, make sure your dock supports 2 HDMI inputs. Using a hmdi to dvi converter does not work. Otherwise there are no complaints.

I buy two of these and have a total of three monitors to work with. I'm NOT a gamer and I suspect gamers won't like it, but for home and business they're great. The picture is very clear and the functions are easily accessible and user-friendly. I connected everything to the docking station.

Bought this monitor as a second screen for my laptop. Color and performance are excellent. Between work, study and play, it has exceeded all expectations.

I bought 2 of these monitors to replace monitors that were damaged during a thunderstorm. I was expecting to be able to connect them to my hub to extend my laptop screen. They didn't work for that. I contacted LG to find out what the problem was and they said it doesn't support use with hubs or docking stations and that it can only be plugged directly into a laptop or desktop computer. Works perfectly. Fast installation. But I don't think I got a new monitor. This came with fingerprints on the screen and the installation disc was already open. I'm guessing it was their "updated" version that was $5 cheaper. One is always trying to outdo the other.
