🖥️ LG 27BL85U-W: 27-inch 4K USB3.0 Display with Height Adjustment, Freesync, and High Dynamic Range Review

This is a great monitor and the stand adjustment works well. That being said, I would like the height to be set an additional two inches higher, and I would like the stand to be less deep and more convenient. The curve mostly takes up desk space, while other low-profile, flat stand designs can be used as desk space. Maybe it's a nitpick, but I like to place my laptop under the monitor when I'm not using it, which isn't possible with this laptop.

I have a computer desk with a maximum monitor opening width of 24.75 inches. I had an old Gateway monitor that still worked but wanted to go up from 1920x1080 resolution. This monitor does it for me! There are no dead pixels yet and I am happy with the color and resolution! I don't play many first person shooters but this monitor is great for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 which I use! The 4K resolution spoiled me as I'm no longer happy with the resolution on my Oculus Rift S VR headset! LAUGH

I love this monitor, it's very clear at night and very bright, but I love how I can completely change the picture settings so the brightness doesn't kill my eyes. I also connected my MBP17 to it and love how much screen real estate I have. I also use this with my Xbox One x and it plays 4K games very smoothly at 60fps. Highly recommended

I use this screen with my Mac. mini m1 via usb-c port. Looks good works well speakers are ok. I use it for real estate photography, the colors are good enough.

Connected to the new entry-level M1 Mac mini. No screen flickering or blanking like I've read from others. Clear and crisp 4K output. The only problem is HDR. With HDR enabled, there's a fairly noticeable redshift in the image. However, this appears to be a macOS issue that Apple has yet to resolve. Overall excellent value for money.

The adjustable stand is great, the picture is clear as day, the only complaint I would have is that the base of the stand is curved and takes up a lot of space. However, I like its aesthetic too much to actually object. I also like that it only takes one cable to charge and display my laptop at the same time.
