No regrets for $3300

I upgraded my old Benq W1070 in April 2021 and am very glad I did it. The 4K HDR image is phenomenal a textured wall from 13ft and can't even see the texture when viewing it. There is a small light border around the image but you have to know it's there to notice it (mrs not and we use it every day my only regret is that I didn't buy it for $2600 when it came to the first came out.I waited until it was $3300 but I'm still happy with my purchase.

(Update) One star until LG fixes customer support issues.

Only a month after receiving the projector, the remote control stopped working. That alone wouldn't motivate me to post a 1-run review, but LG's customer service does. I was able to register a product on their website, but when I try to submit a service request, the website's form does not allow you to select the subject required to submit the form. I've tried multiple browsers and the form doesn't work. I then tried to call and after being diverted twice the quality of the call was so bad that

Amazing laser projector!

I really like this projector, the brightness is amazing, I can easily watch shows with the lights on when needed. It boots up and shuts down in 10 seconds and I was able to snap a 110 inch image from less than 10 feet away. The vertical and horizontal lenses are very useful and the LG OS and backlit Magic remote are awesome! tall and weighs 24 pounds. The Smart OS is currently missing some very important streaming apps like Netflix, Vudu, HBO max and Discovery+, I hope they will be added over…

No regrets for $3300

I upgraded my old Benq W1070 in April 2021 and am very glad I did. The 4K HDR picture is just phenomenal. Some website reviews complain about dark levels and contrast, but this looks great. Don't let anyone talk you out. I'm projecting onto a textured wall from 13 feet away and I can't even see the texture when viewing. There is a small light border around the image but you have to know it to notice it (my wife didn't notice it and we use it every day). My only regret is that I didn't buy it…

Stunning image, minor flaws

Twice as good as my previous projector (Epson 1440) for twice the price. The color of this thing is fully saturated and a joy to look at. UHD sharpness is an improvement over HD but is let down by the stiff manual focus lever. The HDR capabilities are well implemented, but it's true that no projector is bright enough to render HDR properly. However, the approach taken here is clever and I believe it works as well as it can. For the darkest shows I use HDR Brightest mode. Otherwise, I use the…

Huge screen outperforms 65 " OLED + Dolby Vision

This is my first projector. I used to use a 65 inch LG C8 OLED TV in my home theater. Dolby Vision on the TV prevented me from changing the setting and using the projector. After switching to a 100 inch screen, I can never go back. No matter how beautiful blacks and Dolby Vision HDR are on a TV, the huge screen beats them every time. My theater has white popcorn ceilings and light gray walls. I thought my room wasn't dark enough and made the mistake of choosing the Gray Matte Screen from the…
