Works great strange how the original lasted 2 years and suddenly stopped. But I took the batteries off the old ones and put them in the new ones and the first click worked. By the way, the new remote control has a longer range. Exactly the same part, but I don't even have to aim directly at the soundbar for functionality.

I really liked the remote control. My pup grabbed the original remote and destroyed it. It works great for the most part. The only problem I had was that when I tried to use it on my smart tv, I had to completely close the app to get back to a page within the app. It did the job though.

insert batteries as per every other review and this remote does not control my soundbar. I called LG and they told me to just buy a new remote control. I then go to return this defective item and although I only ordered it a few days ago the item is non-refundable. Don't buy this, you have a 50% chance the remote won't work.

No problem connecting or using the new remote control for the first time. Then after a few weeks it stopped working. After turning off and unplugging it worked again for about 10 minutes then it stopped. I've tried this procedure about 5 times and it works for 5-10 minutes and then stops again. LG's soundbar has never been this great, so it'll likely get a new sound system anyway.

Item was exactly as described, brand new - an OEM replacement remote for my home theater soundbar system (NB3520A).
