Libbey Mario Glass Pitcher, 90 oz Review

I have the exact same pitcher and I love using it, especially when we have company. This is my favorite wedding present. It's nicer than a plastic pitcher, but not so fancy that it can't be used every day. Couples don't often put it on their list, but since I use mine so often, I think they'll be lucky to have it.

I almost didn't buy this based on some of the negative reviews but I'm glad I did. I use it all the time and haven't had any problems. It's a bit heavy when full, so it should be supported by both the bottom and the handle when lifting. It's just common sense. And do not pour very hot liquid into it. Then you have an attractive and reliable pitcher. I'm glad I got it.

Goodbye old Michelob jug, you've been replaced. This is a nice standard jug. My pomegranate martinis looked very pretty in a clear glass on Christmas Eve. My only complaint is that the stitching on the jug is thick and noticeably runs down the sides making the jug look cheap. But hey, it's better than a beer mug.

I was looking for a sangria jar that was at least 80 oz and reasonably priced. It fit, so I bought it. Other reviews mentioned two seams, one in the front and one in the back, which didn't sound like a deal breaker to me at the time of purchase. BUT when I received it the stitching was a lot bigger than I expected and the jug looks downright cheap. If you are looking for something nice I would not recommend buying this.
