I'm glad I bought the best in dishes and serving utensils
I almost didn't buy this based on some of the negative reviews but I'm glad I did. I use it all the time and haven't had any problems. It's a bit heavy when full, so it should be supported by both the bottom and the handle when lifting. It's just common sense. And do not pour very hot liquid into it. Then you have an attractive and reliable pitcher. I'm glad I got it.
