Sturdy, not fancy

I was looking for the exact size and shape of a pilsner glass because I was photographing it in a restaurant I liked. I was also looking for nice glasses - good beer deserves a good glass as much as wine. It's the right size and shape, but not only is it very thick glass (which would be nice), but the quality of the glass is very rough. It's wavy and distorted and looks cheap. I'm sure it will be very durable and make sense for use in bars or pubs. But it wasn't quite what I was looking for…

Attractive beer glasses!

husband loves these glasses. I also find them quite chic. They really have a "coolness", not just "good old Pilsner". They are strong but do NOT look tired and very heavy. Also, the glasses are quite heavy, but NOT TOO heavy (especially when filled with your favorite beverage), easy to hold and handle. Thanks to an attractive design. As a woman who enjoys international beer every once in a while lol I appreciate that too. I find these wonderful pilsners very good for the price. I would add that

THICK GLASS GIVES A LOT OF WEIGHT TO THE BASE, PREVENTS TIPPING AND HELPS KEEP THE BEER COLD

My wife wasn't sure when I first told her I was buying 4 Libbey Stockholm Pilsner beer glasses for home fetch would use. She doesn't like nondescript beer glasses. I love frosted beer mugs (I used 16oz glass mugs that I put in the freezer. She didn't like these as they were big, bulky and didn't fit in the built in bottle holder on our daybed).
