My wife wasn't sure when I first told her I was buying 4 Libbey Stockholm Pilsner beer glasses for home fetch would use. She doesn't like nondescript beer glasses. I love frosted beer mugs (I used 16oz glass mugs that I put in the freezer. She didn't like these as they were big, bulky and didn't fit in the built in bottle holder on our daybed). The moment I took the first glass out of the box and let her see and feel it, she fell in love with her. These glasses feature a wide round bottom with approximately 2 inches of solid glass between the round bottom and the point where the beer sits at the bottom of the glass. This heavy, wide base makes the Libbey Stockholm Pilsner beer glasses some of the best pilsner glasses I've seen, even at the local pub. They are also suitable for the built-in bottle holder. Although the warnings say not to expose them to sudden changes in temperature (most non-oven glassware says so), I pop mine in the freezer for frosty beer whenever I feel like it. As promised, the reinforced flat bottom provides extra stability and less spillage. And with about 2 inches of solid glass between the round base and the point where the beer sits at the bottom of the glass, it maintains the perfect temperature when taken out of the freezer to keep your beer colder for longer. It's a fact, Jack! I am living proof that this is a true statement. In the future I will never settle for anything other than Libbey Stockholm Pilsner beer glasses. I have already told my friends about this great offer.
