🔗 Enhanced Liberty BBF430Z-SN-U Single Over-the-Door Hook in Satin Nickel Finish Review

I'm generally a fan of strong solid things and I love this hook. However, the part that hangs on the door is slightly thicker and wider than the similar hook I already have. This means that a little more clearance is needed to properly close the door.

This is a nicely made over the door hanger. Goes well with my door but be aware my doors are 115 year old solid wood doors and are not as thick as some of the newly constructed doors. Therefore, measure the thickness of your door before purchasing.

I use this hook to hang my backpack on the back of my closet door. The backpack can weigh up to 20 pounds at times and the hook doesn't seem to bend at all. The hook fits my door perfectly and the door still closes as usual. I would recommend this hook and will definitely buy more if the need arises.

Nicely made but the metal was too thick to close my door. Also, despite measuring before ordering, this is made for a slightly thicker door than mine, so there is play in the fit (see 1 5/8" thick (see photo). Maybe this will work for someone else (older doors?) Okay , I ended up using it on a door that doesn't close often.

This hook is strong enough and looks good. I made the mistake of not measuring the width of the doorway I would be hanging the wreath on and it caused the back of the hook to stretch strangely as I forced it into place. It was also too short for my needs and hanging too close to the top of the door. After Christmas I threw the hook away and ordered a new one, wider and longer to allow the Valentine's wreath to hang in the center of the top half of the door.

Seems to be a very strong hook. However, the part that goes over the door has some design flaws. First, it was too wide for my doors, which are the standard width for current interior doors. I couldn't close the door because it leaned over the top of the door. I was able to solve this problem with glued-on felt gliders. However, another problem was not solved. Good quality hook but very difficult to install if you need to fix it on the door. You will need a very small screwdriver so you can drive the screw in from the TOP side of the door without banging the screwdriver on the ceiling. Also, it's risky since they don't include a screw, which is a very specific type. When testing whether the door would close, the door frame was knocked out! (see image).
