I bought these as an 'intermediate solution' as 2 other orders failed. I bet we'll never replace them, they look so pretty. I did not install the ring on the chuck. This makes it a little cleaner. My only issue is that I installed the full length (10ft ceiling) cable and would like the cable to be a bit larger. The cable is plastic and a bit wavy, but will straighten out over time.

very good lights. I installed them above my bar and they are great. no plastic at all. The only downside was that it took a little thought to put it all together in just a minute. it has no real directions. But if you have the ability to hook up your own lights, I'm sure you have the know-how to handle that lighting. Everyone said I was very impressed. great value for money.
