I bought a LIDCAM to give my husband for Christmas 2018 for fishing. He started using it in April 2019 and loves it. Great picture, easy to use. But in July 2019 he stopped working. Nothing happened, didn't fall, the battery is fine, it just stopped working. When I went online to look at the reviews I read that several other customers had the same complaint. Now that the "window of return" has closed, all that's left for me to do is let others know. I strongly advise against buying LIDCAM.

This is a great product for beginners. As a YouTuber building race cars, this is good for hands-free work. But the sound is absolutely terrible. It's easy to blow out the mic if you speak too loud. Sounds like you're speaking out of Tim's can. Also, the battery doesn't last very long. The last memory card will come out. And the maximum size of the memory card is not large. What, as they say. I bought this because there is unfortunately an uptick in activity at our local park where I regularly walk my dogs. FYI: I bought a non-zoom camera because I didn't expect the feature to be needed.
