Definitely makes cutting easier.

You really have to be buying from a terrible dealer to go wrong with any of these lol. I don't use the cut out shapes while the soap is still in the mold, so I can't say how fair they are in those situations, but I'm guessing they were actually made for that? I use them for cold soap - no problem. Purchased from: Life of the Party

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

Straight Cut Cut

I actually have this wavy cut (Pampered Chef) so I know how it works and that it works! (A rocking motion works best!) I didn't really want my soap to have ridged edges, so I ended up with this straight edge. Works great! I'm keeping that specifically for soap, but I think you could just give it a good wash and use it on veggies.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Make a great cut!

Tired of cutting soap SR with a knife. So I thought I'd give this one a try. I love it so far! This is a hard mode of operation, so you can press the soap as hard as you like. The cuts are so nice and clean. The blade is completely flush on one side and slightly raised on one side with the handles. If you're not cutting extra long poles, you won't have a problem. If you are looking for a good soap cutter I highly recommend it!

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Crumpled

This cutter is exactly as pictured. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it and will have to buy another one for my soap making. This cutter isn't too wide, and if you're ever hoping to use it to cut a loaf of soap in half, the extra metal at each end of the blade will leave large, unsightly marks on the soap. There are other cutters with smooth blades and without.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Drill Kit

He gets along well with his task

I can't say anything bad about this soap cutter. This is the only one I have and I'm still new to soap making. But it served its purpose well. The blade is smooth and thin, so it cuts cleanly and easily with little effort. The cutter is well assembled, nothing is dangling. I easily cut through 50+ bars and some of the bars of soap were very hard requiring a lot of squeezing. I would recommend it to all soap makers.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember
