The bag was big and roomy, just what we were looking for. We followed the instructions and recommendations for filling, bleeding, valve tightening and storage recommendations and it worked like a champ. until the next day when the bag slowly began to inflate. Unfortunately the integrity of the pouch is poor, maybe a top zip or a bad valve, but the size of the pouch is now as it was before we deflated and compressed the pouch. I took a double memory foam mattress, folded it in half and put it in my bag (pretty easy). I sealed it, vacuumed it (5 minutes) and it was nice and compact. Then I rolled it up (not that easy considering it was so tight) and wrapped it with lots of duct tape and clear tape. You won't get a foam mattress in this bag without a lot of help. In my case, I was able to do this by sitting 3 people on the edge of the bag to give the mattress some compression while I zipped the opening shut. Then, while people were still sitting on the bag, I vacuumed it off. If the bag was about 10 inches longer, there would be enough room inside to zip the zippers up without assistance.
