Review on LifeSmart Vacuum Ventilated Mattress Toppers by Marina Perez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm surprised it works as planned.

Do you know that sometimes when you look at the description and think and plan and when you come across something that you didn't think of or something happens that you didn't think of? Well, it wasn't one of those times. Of course, this is an ordinary vacuum bag, but are the dimensions correct? Will it fit on a foam mattress as planned? YUP! My daughter went to an out-of-state school, so I had to keep her mattress pad. Which, as you can see, is quite bulky and takes up a lot of space. I was able to place the mattress topper in a vacuum bag with no problem. With LOTS of space to save. I think I can actually put a foam mattress in this thing, not just a mattress topper. Our size was for twins. I'm sure the larger topper could have been folded to fit. The plastic is a bit "thin" but still feels solid enough. Most vacuum bags often leak slowly. This one appears to be holding the seal, but I'm sure air will seep in over time. I was able to pack the entire mattress topper into a medium sized suitcase and stow it in the closet. No dust and off road. I think it's worth buying more and using them next time you move. It's difficult for movers and their dirty hands to move a foam mattress. I think it might be cleaner and easier for everyone to vacuum it first. For that, I wish they would make it a little bigger so I can fit a queen size foam mattress inside.

Pros
  • many fit
Cons
  • sad packaging
