If you're buying this to replace a not-so-old Samsung lens hood and the bulb just stays on and won't go out after you put it in, then the lens hood is broken and needs replacing to be repaired. Pooh. We just unscrew it to use it now lol. Just for info

I bought 3 packs but only received 2 good bulbs. The third bulb was broken, and it was obvious that it was already broken before the box was opened because all the glass inside was rattling. None of the boxes were broken when received so I believe the damage was done before delivery.

It might be months before I need one of these. I need spares because I use this microwave bottom light as a night light - lots of use. However, they are exactly as listed and described and I'm sure they will work just as well as any of the others. The reviews are very positive. Made in China like everything else. Relatively speaking at a reasonable price. UPDATE: I BOUGHT THIS IN OCTOBER. 2021 AND I ALREADY FLASHED ALL 3 - DO NOT RECOMMEND.

As I have a Maytag microwave oven I had to replace the bulb above our oven. After researching the bulb I needed, I found what I needed on the Maytag website and the cost of the bulb plus shipping. I decided to look for a product on AMAZON and was happy to find it on their website. I bought three bulbs from AMAZON and saved a lot thanks to the free shipping. I received the bulbs in just a few days and now have 2 extra bulbs in case I need them in the future.

What happened to me is that when the lightbulb that illuminates the range underneath my hooded microwave blew out and I tried to remove the burnt lightbulb, the glass bulb broke off the metal base…
