I recommend washing your hands while steam melting in my little dishwasher. The third one cracked in half after being washed in the dishwasher. The ones I hand washed had no problems at all. I originally bought these for use in the country but ended up loving them so much they are now my lunch box for a work day too. They're lightweight yet durable, and the carrying case makes them feel like they'll stay clean during transport. The only negative, in my opinion, is the locking mechanism. I would prefer something that doesn't require sticking a fingernail under a flimsy piece of plastic. However, it holds securely and one of the two sets I currently have has so many uses. All in all,

Highly recommended. I bought it primarily for the Light My Fire titanium connector housing and a plastic replacement connector. This fork design works well for soups, stews and scooping out the last of the yogurt from the bottom of the container. I have to give this review five stars because the sporks are amazing. I don't use them for camping. I use them as my main cutlery every day, skipping the usual forks and spoons around the house. I have been doing this for many years for the following reasons. The shape of the spoon is perfect, the plastic is nice to the touch, the spoon holds more than a normal spoon without being too big and because it's plastic it doesn't make that annoying click on our china.
