Fulcrum MultiFlex LED Reading Light, Silver, Single pack - Light It Up! Review

I put three fresh AAA batteries in the flashlight and in no more than 4 minutes the lamp was too hot to touch. The batteries got hot even when the light was off. The first thing for me was that all three batteries entered the battery compartment in the same direction. Usually one of the three goes in the opposite direction. I do not recommend this product.

I last bought this flashlight on 5th February 2021. I didn't use it every day. I just put in new Duracell alkaline batteries and it's not working properly. Not fully lit. This one didn't last as long as the other two I've bought in the past. I gave them away. I have no idea how long they lasted. I just left a message on company voicemail. I am waiting for an answer from you.

. Turned on the light and it only burns for 15 seconds. Then the battery compartment began to heat up. I opened the compartment and the batteries inside really melted. I pulled them out and couldn't even hold them in my hand, they were so hot. You can see two small gray spots on the two batteries in the picture I attached. There they melted! This is a cheap LED book lamp. It didn't cost much and it's not that much, but that's ok.
