Too hot to work with lamps and ceiling fans

I put three fresh AAA batteries in the flashlight and in no more than 4 minutes the lamp was too hot to touch. The batteries got hot even when the light was off. The first thing for me was that all three batteries entered the battery compartment in the same direction. Usually one of the three goes in the opposite direction. I do not recommend this product.

Longer used

I last bought this flashlight on 5th February 2021. I didn't use it every day. I just put in new Duracell alkaline batteries and it's not working properly. Not fully lit. This one didn't last as long as the other two I've bought in the past. I gave them away. I have no idea how long they lasted. I just left a message on company voicemail. I am waiting for an answer from you.

The batteries started to heat up and even melted when

. Turned on the light and it only burns for 15 seconds. Then the battery compartment began to heat up. I opened the compartment and the batteries inside really melted. I pulled them out and couldn't even hold them in my hand, they were so hot. You can see two small gray spots on the two batteries in the picture I attached. There they melted! It also smells like burnt plastic!

Cheap but works well

This is a cheap LED book lamp. It didn't cost much and it's not that much, but that's ok. The adjustable neck is easy to position unlike some other cheap clips and for me that and the fact that the clip clamps onto something really well is pretty much all you look at because an LED is an LED. My sophomore wears this everywhere from his desk on his lap to the headboard of his bed, and takes it to his mom when she's reading and she's out of lights. It's bright enough for reading (that's its…

and that's great. He also used it in roleplaying for .

The first one, bought over a year ago for use in bunk beds. It's too dark to read on the bottom bunk so my 8 year old fixed it on the bed and it's perfect. He has also used it in RPGs for various things and it is still in perfect condition. We read books every night and I only had to change the batteries once. When my daughter got a bunk bed, I bought her this (she often stole her brother's bed). Again, she attaches them directly to the bed and is the perfect reading lamp. She also uses it with

Highly recommended!

I'm very happy with this pear! The light covers the entire page on my clipboard and I don't have to reposition it. I have bought 2 more for other nurses I work with and they are also very happy with this light. UPDATE: This light is still working 18 months after purchase, as are two others I bought as gifts. I just toss it in my work bag and it holds up well to abuse. Doesn't eat batteries either. I clip this lamp to my shirt and sometimes under the hood of my car. Very durable and versatile…

cute little book lamp

I bought this lamp for my son so he can read in bed without turning on the main light. It had pretty good reviews and I figured for less than $10 it wouldn't matter much if he managed to destroy it or if it wasn't that great. As soon as she saw it in action my daughter decided she needed one too! (She has the same crimson light, not silver). This cute little light is attached to their headboards. They had no problem with him not staying. The flexible neck allows you to place the light where you

It doesn't "eat " batteries like some flashlights

I read a lot, mostly paperbacks. This light is very bright, but not too bright. It doesn't "eat" batteries like some flashlights, and it uses readily available AAA batteries, which was a big problem when I bought it. There's nothing worse than looking for $15 batteries and going to three different stores to find them for your tricky little reading light. The bar will hold its place as you bend and tilt it. Light has an ideal brightness. The clip is strong and will last. The only issue I have is

SUPER BRIGHT and lasts a very long time on the same batteries

Came here to write a review after rediscovering this flexible flashlight and using it regularly now. I have been using the Fulcrum Laterna Touch for many years as I really liked the small size, the look and the touch capabilities. But the LEDs in the device became very dim, regardless of whether I used new batteries. So I found my Flex Light in one of my drawers and was amazed at how much I missed it. After having such a low light for so long I was amazed at how bright this little flexible…

Over 3 years later Perfect

Tried almost every other light on the market. I have been using these flashlights (3 of them in the family) every night for over 4 years without exception! The case with three batteries is a little big, but it's not bad. That's the price you pay for longer-lasting batteries. The positives are that it lasts longer or 30 minutes to an hour over 3 years without failure. We have four of these and only once has there been a flickering light outage. They work best for hardcover books, but I use them…
