🌿 Natural Hair Color and Conditioner, Medium Brown - Light Mountain 4 oz Review

Although I followed T's instructions - and I'm no newbie to hair dye and henna - my hair came out jet black instead of medium brown. It was more blue-black than brown. If you want a natural black that would be great, but for those who want something in the brown range I would go for a much lighter shade.

So my natural hair color is dark brown but before using this henna dye my hair was dyed light blonde. This henna dye did a great job darkening my hair. I didn't leave it for the full 4 hours, just about 1 hour and 10 minutes. I didn't use conditioner after rinsing. Well when I dried a small section of my hair I was excited at how the color had turned out and I found it had an awful green cast as others have noted. This is not a medium brown. I followed all the instructions and my hair turned completely black. I just washed and dried the color and I know it should change a bit over time but just a warning that this can happen to your hair. Now I will wash the part with shampoo.

Smells very earthy and feels like your head is covered in dirt. However, it's still better (for me) than all those horrible chemical smells and stains that classic hair dyes produce. So when people say it's dirty, it's actually no dirtier than any other color. I like the depth of color I get. I have collarbone length hair and one pack is enough for three uses.

My colleague told me about the benefits of henna hair coloring and I finally gave up. It takes a little longer than traditional paints, but it's worth it. There are no harsh chemicals in it and your hair doesn't look tight like packed dye. It seems to have natural highlights. I love it and everyone else loves it about me, I will never chemically fry my hair again! Update: I've bought it twice since my first review.
