I needed to replace the drapery covering the sliding glass door to our back patio -- we put it up years ago when we first bought our home, and it is the rather formal, heavy type of drape on a traverse rod. It has actually been a bit of a pain to maintain and it is starting to look a bit tired and dated, although it is far from worn out. I'm not sure if want to replace it with the same type of drapery or if I would like something lighter and more modern this time, but that would still do a good

Although the description states "Blackout Thermal Insulated Curtains for Sliding Door " these are not thermal curtains. The fabric is barely 1/32" thick from the white side to the black one. Seems to work for blackout though.No way these are build with 3 layers of fabric, or they are anemically thin.Suffice to say, 1/32" material thickness has close to ZERO thermal insulation properties.Vastly inferior to the (much more expensive) Moondream 3-in-1 curtains I had bought for another house.

The color, the fabric, the quick put-up, the width and length and price were perfect. I couldn't be more pleased. The quality of fabric is silky. They are truly light-blocking. The whole room feels much more cozy now.

The bleached white looks very blue. I am not impressed with the color. Might return, but they are great at blocking out light.

I was skeptical about soundproofing part of it but these really do work!I love how high end these curtains look,transformed my bedroom into a hotel suite.Get it,you won’t regret it!

They didn’t look thin when I hung them the night before, but come morning, the sun is shining right through them.I hung them nearly 2’ above the top of my balcony door to reduce the amount of light coming through the top and you can clearly see where the wall is and where the top of glass door begins because of how much light comes through. You can even see blue sky. Very disappointed.

Man, these things right here are so freaking dark. They let no light in to the point where I oversleep sometimes because I cannot see if it’s night or day outside. This is perfect for people that work graveyard shifts and I imagine aren’t able to sleep all day because of the light getting in.

Straight out of the package and onto the curtain rod and this is what they look like. Ordered white, got dingy stained yellowish curtains. The quality seems great but they look terrible and gross

The description / photos are misleading. This is a single layered curtain. They aren’t anything special; otherwise they work fine. They don’t block noise / heat as well as the dual layered curtains, which was the goal in buying them.

This is a real blackout. Impeccable darkness and protection from the sun on very sunny days. Very good presentation and they are not heavy.

I bought this curtain to go on my patio doors to help block out the cold. They have the black coating on the back to block out light also. They are a beautiful sheen on the front. I would recommend to anyone wanting to darken a room or help to control the cold or heat from the sun.
