💡 LightingWill LED Power Supply: AC 100-240V to DC 12V Transformer for LED Strip Light, 2A Max & 24 Watt Output Review

I needed spare 12V power supplies for my musical instruments and effects processors. The OEM units were $25 each, so I took a chance. They power every 12 volt block I have. Very satisfied. All had the ends pinned, so it looks like they are pinned. You can't beat the price for something that just works.

The product is rated for 24 watts. My LED strip was rated at 16 watts. This power supply constantly went into overcurrent protection (brief power outages). After a few seconds, the adapter will cool down internally and turn on again. This caused the LEDs to flash every 5 minutes. When the load drops to 8 watts, the blinking stops.

This is the second LightingWill LED power supply I'm buying and for the same purpose. The original power supply that came with some of the lights under the cabinet has failed. The first LightingWill worked so well that the decision to buy a second one was made quickly when the second original power supply also failed. These devices work, are easy to connect and reliable. I can only recommend these power supplies!

This is about my fifth set of these lights since I started with great success lighting a mid modern bar, then replaced our bathroom vanity lighting and finally just lit the downlight. Porcelain cupboard with 2 sets (photo attached). Very easy to use, doesn't get hot and the adhesive keeps the light in place. After using this many times, it's best to peel the adhesive backing off a few inches from the top (this way the adhesive doesn't come off the back of the lights). Enjoy!

I bought this power supply to power an LED strip. I plugged it into a light bar and after about 5 minutes the power goes off and on again for no reason. At first I thought it might be the LED strip so I tried a different power supply and had no problems so not with the light strip. I later found that the 16-foot 5050 LED strip I hooked up to used 40W of power. This PSU can only deliver 24W and absolutely nothing more. I ordered a 5A power supply.

I bought this transformer for my LED strips. This is a 6A transformer that requires a three pin input cable. It came with a two-prong input cable. I returned it and ordered another one. It also came with the wrong two-prong input cable. I'm not sure what's going on and time is short so I'll go to Radio Shack and see if I can get the right power cord for this transformer.
