Pretty intuitive setup. Two settings are possible. I tried both and found the directional softbox version better suited my needs. However, both produced a nice soft light in a very light package. I managed to set up desktop streaming. Pros: The size is large enough to create a soft enough light on a person's head and still allow for a little lateral movement without interference. Heats up after several hours of continuous use. - Sufficiently long cables. - A hanging loop on the dimmer module is welcome. Amazing quality of light. 12 is very bright for its size and value. Flexibility and light weight are other main advantages of this flashlight. This came in a nice case with an extra softbox and diffuser.

Amazing value for money. I like the brightness range. LED means low heat and if you have ever used more traditional lighting. You know, sweating starts a few minutes after you turn on the light! It's very light and just what I was looking for as a main light for recording YouTube videos. The instructions are far from minimal, but there are some how-to videos on You Tube if you search and it made setup a breeze. What I would like. the ability to change the hue to hot / cold / daylight.

When my light came out I had a hard time setting it up as the English version of the instructions is not very good. However, I was able to find videos on YouTube that clearly demonstrated the setup.
