These practical hand towels double as kitchen towels for everyday use. We are trying to get away from wasting paper towels. A fresh cloth towel every day and the package lasted 2 weeks before a load of laundry was needed. I wish they would soften up after several washes, but that hasn't happened yet. The seams are well finished.

Excellent kitchen/bar towels. I bought them to see if I like them or not. I will order more. Update: It is now January 4th, 2017. I purchased these towels on October 19th, 2016. A friend from the restaurant would sometimes bring me a beard towel when we met a group and leave it behind. After years of having them and wearing them out, I felt it was time to find new ones that weren't too big. It took a bit of searching, but eventually they were found. They are amazing. Excellent quality. Since there were 13 in the package I gave 2 each to four friends who are equally thrilled. Care instructions are clearly visible on the packaging.

I have a few of these that I use in the kitchen instead of paper towels. They are of very good quality and get better with every wash. I wash on the gentle cycle with extra rinsing and bleaching. It is also important to dry in a gentle or constant press mode so that they do not shrink. I've washed mine at least a dozen times and the bleach removes all the stains and they come out very bright and clean. There was some lint on the first few dryers but now there is very little. Received these towels a few days ago. Washed in lukewarm water/high speed and tumble dried/gentle as I do all my cotton clothes. They are currently 14-3/4" x 17" so there is little shrinkage. The towels are soft, but have a coarse terry structure and absorb moisture well. I don't notice any lint on the glasses after drying. They also dry quickly by hanging on the dishwasher handle. Perfect size for small jobs! Very absorbent, these towels wash extremely well. I machine washed half the towels (as a test) in the hottest water available using chlorine bleach and good ol' Tide powder [no fabric softener - per seller instructions], then tumble dried on medium. Shocking result: ZERO SHRINK --- WHAT? Wonderful! These towels are sturdy and for the money you can't go wrong. A small caveat. If you want a fluffy, soft terry towel, this isn't for you.
