The sheer size of this thing means you don't need tethering, I can bring the camera right up to the monitor and see if I really got the focus and composition right. There are still some things you get with a modem, but the simplicity of doing everything in one camera makes it hard to beat. and it is more portable.

I received the item as used - like new and had fingerprints on the monitor when it arrived but overall it looked like new.
